If you are a parent or a young person whose family is involved with social services, we can advise and represent you, even before a case goes to court. We are specially trained to deal with these complex cases, and are members of the Law Society's Children Panel as well as the Association of Lawyers for Children.
In social services cases in particular, we undertake a significant amount of the advocacy ourselves. This means that whenever possible, you will have a lawyer from Blacklaws Davis LLP representing you in court. That person will either be dealing with your case day to day, or will be one of our specialist advocates, working closely with the lawyer who is dealing with your case. Even if we cannot provide the advocacy on your case, we have access to a pool of specialist family advocates (barristers and solicitor advocates) who can also offer the highest standards of representation in court.
If social services are involved with your family this can be very worrying. We can provide you with expert legal advice in this very complicated area of family law. If you want to discuss this further then please contact Nicola Harmon.
