Pauline Troy

Pauline graduated in Law from the University of Exeter in 1986, the College of Law, Chancery Lane in 1987 and qualified in 1989 and has practised family law throughout her career with a special interest in the Lesbian and Gay Community.

Pauline is recognised by the Law Society as a specialist family solicitor and has been a member of the Law Society's Children's Panel since 1996, regularly acting for children, parents and other family members in both private and public law children's cases covering the whole spectrum of child protection cases, including cases of non-accidental injury and family homicide. Her work requires her to act as an advocate in all first instance courts of the Family Justice System and she is recognised by the Law Society as a specialist advocate with Higher Rights of Audience. Pauline is also an all issues qualified Collaborative Lawyer and a member of Resolution (formerly the Solicitors Family Law Association).

In addition to her work with clients on individual cases and the running of her firm, Pauline is an Executive Committee Member of the Association of Lawyers for Children, a member of the Lesbian & Gay Lawyers Association, a legal adviser to the charity Gay Surrey and a member of the Gay Business Association.
