Irena Hill

Irena has been a family mediator since 1989, specialising in children’s issues, and is a full member of the College of Mediators. She became interested in mediation while working as a couple counsellor and seeing the long term effects, even down generations, of high conflict in family breakdown. Irena has worked in not-for-profit mediation centres, in particular at Eye to Eye Mediation in Camberwell from its inception in 1995 to its closure in early 2009. She is also a trained child consultant, offering children affected by their parents’ separation the chance to express their thoughts and feelings in a confidential way.

Irena is bilingual Italian-English and is involved in teaching family mediation in Italy.
