Denise Ingamells authored the Separated Parents Information Programme (PIP) and accompanying handbook on behalf of Relate for Cafcass. She has also delivered training on delivering the PIP to parents to approximately three hundred practitioners around England.
She trained as a relationship counsellor with Relate in 1995, qualified as an “all issues” family mediator with NFM in January 2002 and as a Professional Practice Consultant in 2005. In addition she managed a large mediation service for Relate in North East London for eight years and developed training for a range of organisations including the homeless charity St Mungo’s and for the NHS.
Denise currently works for Blacklaws Davis LLP as Head of their Eye to Eye Mediation Service. She was awarded the Avril Reid Award for Innovation in Mediation by the President of National Family Mediation in 2007 and is a Governor at a local grammar school and Chair of Governors at a local primary school.
