Christina qualified as a solicitor in 1990 and specialises in child care law and mediation. She has been a member of the Children Panel (children representative) since 1994, and has represented hundreds of children often in complex matters over the past 15 years. She is an experienced advocate with Higher Rights of Audience, entitling her to represent her clients in all courts.

She is a Law Society Council member and Chair of the Legal Affairs and Policy Board of the society.  Christina is a former Chair of the Law Society’s Family Law Committee and a member of the Children Law sub-committee.  She currently serves as Child Care representative on the Law Society Council.  In 2010 she was appointed Chief Assessor of the Law Society's Children Panel.

Christina is qualified with both Resolution and National Family Mediation as an "all issues" family mediator. She has 10 years experience in this work. She is also a qualified collaborative lawyer and has assisted many couples amicably to resolve their family problems after the breakdown of their relationship.

She leads for the Law Society in relation to all Family legal aid matters and has given evidence to a number of Parliamentary Select Committees on aspects of children and family law. Christina regularly speaks on a number of family law topics and represents The Law Society at National and International Family Law events, as well as appearing on television and radio to contribute on family law matters and is a frequent commentator in the press.

Christina has been shortlisted for the Legal Aid Lawyer of the Year Awards 2010 by the Legal Aid Practitioners Group.
