How does child support work?

Whether you are married, or in a civil partnership, or co-habiting, you can claim child support for any dependent children through the Child Support Agency.This is calculated by using a formula. There are some exceptions to this, but they are very limited. We can advise you on this.

Enforcement of child support payments is also through the Child Support Agency.
